Velvets are really popular right now so I was happy to find this line which is quite reasonably priced. it seem very similar to some of my more expensive velvets and it comes in a lovely range of very current colours. The texture is quite smooth and it has a subtle sheen. I washed a sample to test and it came out fine. These brushed fabrics can not be ironed although steaming is fine. If you do wash the fabric, i would suggest removing it from the dryer right away to prevent wrinkles from setting.
